Overview:
The purpose of the Club is to cultivate the social, educational and business relations of its members; to broaden their interests in the pursuit of their occupations; to encourage and foster the exchange of technology between the Petroleum and Mining industries; and to contribute to the continued improvement of the quality of life in our community.

Historical Membership Trends

1982 (Founding): The club launched with over 360 Charter Members (Not Counting Spouses) at its first meeting. At the time, roughly 67% of members were directly employed by petroleum or mining companies.

Mid-1980s – 2010s: Membership remained stable but shifted toward a mix of industry professionals and "concerned citizens," including bankers, lawyers, and educators.

2010s – 2020s: Like many social organizations, the club faced engagement challenges during the pandemic. Recent board notes indicated a decline in active board participation and a "talent gap" as older members retired.

2020 – 2026 (Current Status): Membership Currently sits at 50, and is looking to decline.
